I support Companions because dementia is increasing as our population ages it is affecting more people. My father in law experienced Alzheimer's and it was difficult to see him deteriorate and lose the relationships with his children and grandchildren, even though they continued to care for him. As an ageing person I could well be investing in my own future. |

Instead of a gift from the team for herself, Gloria encouraged the kids to make donations and they raised $200, and also paid the additional credit card fees. Gloria is demonstrating true leadership and setting an excellent example to these young soccer players.
